Blackberry Beauty

I know you love sneak peeks, but there are also so many beautiful Stampin’ Up! stamp sets and other products that are available now. And, of course, you don’t want to miss out on the fun sets that will be retiring in June. You can order them now, or you can order them on ebay after they retire for many times more than they cost now. (Hint: Order now!)

The Beautiful You stamp set has been a favorite of mine since I won it in Secaucus, NY, in November 2016. It was my Prize Patrol prize, and I was thrilled! It was one of my favorite sets in the 2017 Occasions Catalog, and then it carried over to the 2017-18 Annual Catalog. Good news – it’s carrying over again! It will be in the 2018-19 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

Beautiful You, Stampin' Up!, Share What You Love

I CASEd this idea (Copy and share everything) from the new Stampin’ Up! 2018-19 Annual Catalog. They used a different set but I loved the idea. Simply stamp the lady in Basic Black Archival Ink (remember, this is retiring, so if you love it, order the stamp pad and/or the refill now!), then stamp over the original image with VersaMark ink and emboss with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (use the new Stamparatus – also available in the new 2018-19 Annual Catalog if you didn’t get in on the early orders – for perfect placement). Color the image with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Marker. Blackberry Bliss is one of the returning In Colors. I’ve kept all my retired In Color stamp pads, Stampin’ Write Markers, and Cardstock since the last color renovation (aka “revamp”), but if you didn’t, it’s ok. It will be available in a “New Color Bundle” in June. I also used a Soft Sky Stampin’ Write Marker to outline the image.

Oh, look. I did give a sneak peek. I used the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) behind the stamped layer. This will be part of a suite in the new 2018-19 Annual Catalog, but the suite will be pre-released in May! That means you can order the paper as well as embellishments, stamp sets, and more on May 2. I’ll post more details as the date gets closer, but you’re going to love that DSP. It’s so beautiful!

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators get to preorder products a month earlier than customers. If we attend an OnStage event, we get to preorder selected products even earlier. This is one of my favorite perks for being a demonstrator (besides the awesome benefits, the free products we can earn, the tons of samples only demonstrators can see, and more!). This is a perfect time to join my team of demonstrators. If you join now, you can preorder from the new catalog in May, and you do not have to meet the minimum sales requirement ($300/quarter) until September 30. (And, since you have an extra month to make up any shortfall, you really have until October 31. Sweet!) For only $99 you can purchase a totally customizable starter kit with $125 worth of product that you choose, plus catalogs and other business tools. If you’re a Stampin’ Up! junkie like me, you’re going to want to take advantage of this!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Thanks, Susan! Of course, I copied the idea from the new catalog, but the Blackberry Bliss is just so striking, I had to try it.I’m really going to try not to hoard the DSP this time. The first cut was hard, though!
