In the Moment

Happy Friday, Stamping Friends! It’s time for another Stamp Off with Jackie, Susan, and me. This week we have a color challenge – Fresh Freesia, Night of Navy, and Coastal Cabana. Aren’t they beautiful together?

I decided to do a sneak peek this week. One of my favorite stamp sets in the upcoming Stampin’ Up!® January-June Mini Catalog is In the Moment. Its so sweet, and each image makes me happy.

I started with a Night of Navy Cardstock base, and then added a layer of Simply Marbelous 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) in Coastal Cabana. I used the Layering Diorama Dies to cut a piece from the New Horizons 6″ x 6″ DSP in Fresh Freesia, then layered it over the Coastal Cabana DSP.

Next, I stamped the lady in the window image from the In the Moment Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White Cardstock. I colored with Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Fresh Freesia, Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Ivory, Cinnamon Cider, and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends. I love how you can mix and layer colors with these alcohol markers!

I cut the tag from Basic White and Night of Navy Cardstock using the Tailor Made Tags Dies. The sentiment is from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set. I used a Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Write Marker to ink What a Beautiful Day. Of course, I picked up a bit of the “for love” part of the stamp, so I covered it with Rhinestone Basic Jewels that I colored with a Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend. (They’re crooked in the photo, but I do believe I have them ordered into straight submission on the card now.)

The Simply Marbelous DSP will be a FREE Sale-a-bration item with a qualifying order in January and February. The In the Moment and Blessings of Home Stamp Sets and New Horizons DSP will be available in the new mini catalog beginning January 4, 2022.

Remember that the July-December Mini Catalog will be retiring on January 3, 2022. Lots of retiring products are already gone, so be sure to order your favorites soon!
