Eclectic Expressions
Everyone loves free stamps, right? And how about a stamp set that can do everything? Even better – especially when it’s free! The Eclectic Expressions Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! is a perfect stamp set, especially if you’re a new stamper. And best of all, you can get it free with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration. But hurry! Sale-a-bration ends March 31, so you only have about two more weeks to get it before it’s gone forever.
This is a quick and easy card that we’re making at classes in March. In fact, it’s so quick and easy, we’re making two. First, stamp the larger “smudge” in Pear Pizzazz two times on a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I inked once and stamped twice. The stamp the smaller smudge two times in Pool Party, again without re-inking between stampings. Finally, stamp the splatters in Tangerine Tango two times. This one I did ink each time.
Now you’re ready for your sentiment in Tranquil Tide. I decided to use Happy Birthday, because I always need birthday cards.. Thank You is another option in this set, but you can use a sentiment from any of your stamp sets.
To jazz it up just a bit, I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots to the card, then added the layer to a Whisper White card base. I love this card, because it’s so simple, yet it’s elegant at the same time. And it will work for anyone (look, Ma! No flowers!). I gravitate to floral sets when I stamp, but those just don’t work well for the guys in my life!
New products were just added to the Sale-a-bration lineup. Several current catalog products are free with a $50 minimum order, and there are some Level 2 items that you can get free with a $100 minimum order. See everything you can get free here. Then head to my online store to place your order.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

I’m regretting not getting this set. This is such a sweet card. It looks so much like it has been watercolored!

Thanks, Jackie! I was thinking at first that this set wouldn’t be really versatile. I was so wrong!

Wow – I love it! The whole background looks like a small fireworks explosion, with the sentiment exploding out of the middle. Very cool 🙂

Thanks, Deborah! When I was little, they used to have frames for fireworks – like a cake or a flag – that would light up. Maybe somewhere deep in my subconscious I was remembering that. (Or not…)
