Hardwood, Sketched Birthday, Stampin' Up! This is one of the cards we made this month in class.  I got the idea from Julie Davidson, and I think she got the idea from convention.  So who knows where it started, right?  But I love the fence idea.  I made a fence several months ago with the Woodgrain stamp.  This one uses Hardwood.  I used the triangle punch to make the fence look a little more real, and I punched flowers using the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack.

At Leadership in 2013, we were given the Sketched Birthday set.  I really like it, but forget I have it sometimes – so I used it to add a few balloons and the sentiment.   The grass, of course, is made with fringe scissors (love them!!), and I colored the pearl flower centers with a Daffodil Delight Blendabilities marker.  And another product I used a lot in the beginning, but now that it’s older I forget about is the Bird Builder punch.  That’s where the little leaf came from.  Now that the little leaf sizzlet has retired, I’ll be using that bird punch a lot more!

Hope you have a beautiful day!  Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!
