Expressions in Ink
Hello, my friends! Welcome to another BS & J Stamp Off Friday. This week, our challenge is to use new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog Designer Series Paper.
From the moment I saw the front of the 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, I knew I was going to love the Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) that coordinates with the Artistically Inked Bundle (Artictically Inked Stamp Set and Artistic Dies). The Expressions in Ink Suite includes the DSP, stamp set, dies, and the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack (50 gold foil pre-cut pieces and 100 adhesive backed sequins). When you bundle the stamps and dies, the price is 10% less than if you purchase them separately. If you order the suite, the bundle price is already discounted and you can order all four items with just one item number. It’s coordination made easy!
Here’s my card using the Expressions in Ink DSP and the Artictic Dies.
Don’t you love that gorgeous paper? The gold veins with the different colors of green are just so beautiful.
Really, this card didn’t need a whole lot. I die-cut the gold bouquet from a Gold Foil Sheet using one of the Artistic Dies. Then, I added the DSP to a Basic White card base and the gold flowers over the DSP. (Tip: Clip a binder clip to a sponge wedge. Dip the sponge into a pool of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, then dab over the back of the die-cut.)
I embossed one of the sentiments from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set using Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Shaded Spruce Cardstock and punched it with the retired Story Label Punch.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
