Another Wordscapes Sketch

Another Wordscapes Sketch

I know I have only been posting on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays lately. However, I have a challenge going on, so I wanted to give everyone as many opportunities as possible to enter.

Here’s the challenge. Order from my web site by midnight January 31. You’ll get 1 entry for a drawing for every $10 you spend – so 1 entry for $10, 5 entries for $50, 10 for $100, etc. (Reminder – if your order is $50 minimum, you’ll also earn Sale-a-bration products!)

There’s no purchase necessary to win the drawing. Comment on my blog and you’ll also get an entry for every day you comment (beginning January 28, 2020).

On February 1, 2020, I’ll draw a name from all the entries and the winner will receive (drum roll) – the Little Ladybug Stamp Set! This is one of the host benefits during Sale-a-bration. Oh – you’ll also be able to order the Ladybug dies that coordinate with this set beginning February 4. So you definitely want to be in the drawing to win this adorable set!

Here’s another card inspired by my favorite online game Wordscapes. Be aware – I used a retired stamp set – Artistically Asian – for some of the images.

Stampin' Up!, Forever Blossoms, So Sentimental

The Asian words and the bamboo images are from the retired set. Do you like it? I’ll also have a drawing to give this set away! Comment on my blog or my Stamping with Buffy Facebook page to enter.

First, I die-cut a label from Real Red Cardstock using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Then I stamped the images from the retired Artistically Asian on the Cherry Cobbler card base and the Real Red label using Versamark. Then I embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

I added a few confetti images from the So Sentimental Stamp Set, also stamped in Versamark and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The So Sentimental Stamp Set and Stitched So Sweetly Dies can be bundled through June 2, 2020 for a 10% discount. These dies and sentiments are so perfect together.

The last step was to add the cherry blossoms. I stamped the floral image from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set in Basic Gray Classic Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I colored with Flirty Flamingo and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Combos, then die-cut with the Cherry Blossom Dies (again – bundle the stamps and dies and save 10%). I took Susan Horr’s idea from her post on Monday and left a lot of white space on the blossoms when I colored them. I also added some Champagne Rhinestone Jewels to the centers of the flowers.

Be sure to place your order and comment on my blog by midnight January 31. You do not have to comment on the current day; you can comment on any post.

In case you think you don’t want the Little Ladybug Stamp Set and coordinating dies, I’m going to post a project on Wednesday that just might change your mind!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Love all things Oriental. Your card gives me an idea for a Valentine’s Day card using the Lotus Blossom stamp. Thank you for the inspiration.
