Country Home and Floral Essence

Country Home and Floral Essence

Hi, Stamping Friends! I have a fun fall card for you today. I mixed and matched several Stampin’ Up!® products to create this card.

Country Home, Stampin' Up!, Floral Essence

I had so much fun creating this card, because I used so many products that weren’t necessarily made to work together – but they do!

First, I embossed a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Watercolor Paper with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder. Sadly, this is one of the last few “carry over” 3D Embossing Folders that isn’t available yet, but it should be soon! Of course, you can use any of the other 3D Embossing Folders for this technique. Pinewood Planks, Tin Tile, Woodland, and Swirls and Curls Folders would be gorgeous with this technique.

Using an Aqua Painter, I added (from top to bottom) Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Poppy Parade, and Cajun Craze Classic Ink to the paper. I love this look! It’s a really fall ombré effect.

To add the ink to your Aqua Painter, you can squeeze your stamp pad together to add ink to the top of the stamp pad. If you have the newest stamp pads, use your palms to squeeze the pad together. If you don’t get enough ink in the lid of the stamp pad, simple add a few drops of ink refill in the same color as the pad to the lid or to a palette.

I added a piece of Pretty Peacock 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon to the watercolored panel, then added it to a Poppy Parade Cardstock base. On Very Vanilla Cardstock, I stamped the small rose from the Floral Essence Stamp Set three times – once in Crushed Curry, once in Pumpkin Pie, and once in Poppy Parade Classic Ink, Then I stamped the floral centers using Early Espresso Classic Ink. And then I fussy cut each image. It’s not hard, and it doesn’t take a long time, so if you’re not a fan of fussy cutting, know that this isn’t a big deal. You can do it!

The leaves from the Floral Essence Stamp Set are stamped in Pretty Peacock, then punched with the Leaf Punch. And now – the can from the Country Home Stamp Set. I stamped it on Mint Macaron Cardstock with Pretty Peacock Classic Ink. I used my Aqua Painter to pull a little of the Perfect Peacock Ink into the can. Then I stamped Hello from the Country Home Stamp Set in Perfect Peacock on the can.

The final touch – I stamped the tag outline in Celestial Copper Ink. This is a product that will be in the 2019 Holiday Catalog, and you can order it beginning September 4. This is amazing ink! It is perfect for detail, and you do not need to heat set or emboss it! It’s a beautiful ink – and it will be available in Golden Glitz and Silvery Shimmer. I’ve used all three inks, and they’re all awesome to stamp with.

I fussy cut the can, but you can easily stamp it on the Very Vanilla panel with Perfect Peacock Ink and color it with Mint Macaron Ink before adding the sentiment and tag images. Add all the elements to a Very Vanilla panel, then add to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

This is such a fun card to send to a friend, don’t you think?

Don’t forget about the Extra, Extra Promotion. If you join my team before August 31, you can select $155 in product for only $99 plus tax (no shipping). You’ll also receive a $10 coupon code to use in September. You’ll receive the coupon code between September 5-7, and it will expire October 31 – so use it as soon as you can!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy! Have a lovely day!
