Rose Red Wonder

Are you loving the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog as much as I am? I decided to use the Rose Wonder bundle today, and I had a blast! There are so many possibilities with this one.

Rose Wonder, Rose Garden, Stampin' Up!

I decided to do a little stenciling today. I die cut the rose and leaves using the Rose Garden Thinlits dies from a scrap piece of paper. Then, using it as a stencil, I inked the flower with Rose Red Classic ink and the leaves with Garden Green. I was going to use another die-cut as an overlay, but I kind of liked the stenciled look.

After I stamped the “Happy Birthday” sentiment and embossed it with Gold powder, I realized the rose needed more. So, instead of a die-cut overlay, I used some Gold Wink of Stella to fill in the empty spots. It gives it some nice shimmer without being overpowering, I think.

If you don’t have an Occasions Catalog or a Sale-a-bration brochure, let me know. And you’re going to want the catalog and brochure. Think about it – if you order the Rose Wonder bundle (which is a 15% savings over buying the stamp set and thinlits separately) and the Gold Wink of Stella, you’ll earn a FREE Sale-a-bration set! Who doesn’t love free? So contact me today to get your catalogs and place your order.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
