This is the “redo” of a thank you card I made for a former teacher. It’s actually going to a couple. He’s a conductor and she is a pianist, but she is also a wonderful artist. I didn’t want her to go, “ick. B-,” when she saw my earlier card, so I changed it a little. It got a thumbs up from Mike, so I guess it will be ok!
I used Work of Art in Tangelo Twist, stamping three times without re-inking to get the ombre effect. Then I stamped the Gorgeous Grunge splatter in gold – and heat embossed with gold powder. There was a bit of extra powder in the top splatter, but I liked the effect, so I kept it.
Finally, I stamped “Thank You” in Smoky Slate and added some gold sequins. Done!
Be sure you get your final order in for Sale-a-bration! You only have two more days. On Wednesday, it’s over. (*sad*)
