I posted the video tutorial on making the creped filter paper flowers the other day. They’re so easy – and so cute! I used the next to smallest Floral Frame to cut the creped filter paper for this one after I dyed the paper with Tangerine Tango ink and a brayer.
The pocket is the Scallop Envelope Bigz die. This makes a perfect little tag for a gift, or even a card for a friend. And it’s so easy to create with the Big Shot. I used the premium crease pad instead of a top cutting plate since the die has score lines. The ribbon and “belly band” are Sale-a-bration items. If you order the Scallop Envelope die, the Best of Birthdays stamp set and the extra large oval punch, you’ll earn the Sycamore Street ribbon & button pack or the Sycamore Street designer series paper used in this project FREE during Sale-a-bration (Jan 22 – March 22)!!! Or hostess a $400 minimum workshop during Sale-a-bration and earn the paper, ribbon and button pack – plus a coordinating stamp set (Madison Avenue) and silver glimmer paper free! Sweet! Spend $50 more and get the Vine Street textured impressions embossing folder free as well. If you don’t know what you should add for that extra $50 – well, I can help you with that!!
Here’s a picture of the insert. In case you can’t read it (and it is a little small in the photo), it says, “a candle for every year might not be such a great idea…happy birthday!” You’re right!! When you get as many candles on your cake as I have, it’s probably good to have one for every 5-10 years!
Have a great day – and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!
