As promised, here’s the adorable little gift box we made with the Quinceañera set at Stampin’ Up!® Convention 2012 Hispanic Night with Sandra Manwill. I love the little details on this.
Isn’t this sweet? The main image is stamped on Whisper White, then stamped again on Pool Party. Then you paper piece the dress onto the Whisper White image. I used markers to color the flowers and shoes (Primrose Petals) and her skin (Soft Suede and Blush Blossom).
This is really sparkly, so it’s perfect for a 15 year old girl! There’s silver glimmer paper under the main image, and lots of basic rhinestone jewels on the little punched flowers and her tiara. The directions didn’t call for it, but I added a little Dazzling Details to the flowers at her waist. The paper piercing around the main image and the Pool Party ribbon just finish it off perfectly.
I have a great-niece who would love this, but she’s not quite 15. She may think so, though!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful day.
What a really cute set and card, Buffy! I wish I could buy it.
Thanks!! I’ve wanted it for awhile, too. It’s available in the Stampin’ Up! Celebrando Creatividad catalog (129750, $20.95; clear mount only).
Really cute. Even my 7 yr old would love this card. Sparkle, a princess, and detail, just what every girl loves. Just have to use 7 instead of 15. Love it.
I know! At half of 15, twice 15, or even 15 backwards (51+!), all “girls” love it! I like pink and sparkle more as I get older, I think.
