Another “Susan Card”

Wetlands, And Many More, Stampin' Up!Here’s one of the cards we’ll be making at our card club this month. It was inspired by my friend Susan Horr. Susan creates the most beautiful and elegant cards, and one like this was on her blog a few days ago. I wanted to use another set for the focal image, but none of the others seemed to “go.” So this is actually very much like Susan’s card.

I created a frame for the Wetlands grasses using the Yellow Citrus Chalk Ink Pad. The sentiment is from And Many More. I like the contrast between the Very Vanilla card stock and the Early Espresso card stock and ink  I started to use Hello Honey for the layer, but it didn’t quite “pop” as much as using the darker color.

Happily, neither of the stamp sets I used will be retiring in June. They are also available as digital downloads – and those will be disappearing at the end of May. So – if you like MDS (My Digital Studio) and enjoy using digital images on projects, be sure to check them out now!

Remember – any products from the Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog that aren’t moving to the 2015-16 Annual Catalog will be retiring June 2, along with the retiring annual catalog products, so don’t miss out! Order soon. If you need a new catalog, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to get one to you.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!

Well, thanks – but yours was original, so you get extra points. Wanted to get the chalk ink in one more time before we don’t sell it any more. IFLY right back!
