2023 Color Refresh

Welcome back to Stamping with Buffy – and Happy Friday! As you know, this is a “Color Refresh” year at Stampin’ Up!® They update colors every three to five years, and it’s been five years since the last one. I am ready for fresh new colors, and I cannot wait to get my hands on them! Demonstrators can begin preordering on Tuesday. Fortunately, many of the “new” colors are retired In Colors that are being brought back and I have a little card stock, a few markers, and some Ink Pads that I can use until I get to order.

Sadly, whenever we bring in new colors some old ones have to retire. I love all of our colors, so I’m a little sad about the retiring ones, but the new ones are very fresh and pretty and will give my card stock wall a fresh new look. I spent today organizing card stock and ribbon (oh, goodness, do I need to use more ribbon!) and my craft room already looks happier!

So here are the colors that are retiring. As always, be sure to order any retiring products early before they run out! Remember, card stock, ink pads, refills, Stampin’ Write Markers, Stampin’ Blends, embellishments, ribbon and any other products in the retiring colors will also retire.

From the Brights Collection, Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay, and Pacific Point will be leaving. These are all some of my favorites, so you’ll see a lot of them through April!

Merry Merlot, Soft Suede, and Sahara Sand will be leaving the Neutrals. Again, sad! But good things will be coming! The Regals will be missing Rich Razzleberry in May. And in the Subtles Collection, Blushing Bride (my favorite pink), So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, and Mint Macaron will be saying goodbye.

Every two years, five In Colors retire, but since this is a Color Refresh year, only Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, and Evening Evergreen are retiring. Fresh Freesia will be staying for another few years at least!

Here’s a quick video that shows what’s leaving, what’s coming back, and the new colors that will be joining our line-up. At the end, you’ll see the new In Colors for 2023-2025.

As well as colors, some stamps, dies, Designer Series Paper, and other products will be retiring as well. Some will be discounted up to 60% beginning April 4, but popular products may sell out before then. I’ll share the list on Monday, but if there’s something you really want, it’s best to order it now!
