Something Fancy with Favored Flowers
Welcome back to Stamping with Buffy! I finally cut into my Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper (DSP). It’s so pretty, and I love that the patterns to most of the work! Plus, it’s free with a $50 order during Stampin’ Up!® Sale-a-bration (through February 28, so hurry!).
I used two patterns and layered them on a Blackberry Bliss card base. Since I had a little of my dyed ribbon left from this card, I wrapped it around the “seam” where the two patterns met. I wanted to add a couple stamped flowers, but I didn’t order the Fragrant Flowers Bundle from the Stampin’ Up!® Jan-April Mini Catalog. The Two-Tone Flora Bundle worked ok, though, so I stamped the flowers on Basic White Cardstock with Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Freesia Classic Ink, then die-cut with the coordinating Two-Tone Flora Dies (which I bundled with the stamps to save 10%). I colored the centers with Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends.
The sentiment is from the Something Fancy Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink on Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, then embossed with White Embossing Powder. I used the Something Fancy Dies to die-cut the shape and added it to the card. So easy!
If you order the Two-Tone Flora Bundle, you’ll be able to add any Level 1 (free with $50 purchase) product from the Sale-a-bration Brochure. Add the Something Fancy Bundle and you can select a Level 2 or two Level 1 products! There are only two more weeks of Sale-a-bration; don’t wait until the last minute and be disappointed!
I am so excited for today. I am taking Amelia to school, then heading back at noon to have lunch with her. It will be so fun! She enjoys school lunches; so did I when I was in school. Most of the time, they were quite tasty! But she did suggest politely that I may want to get Chick Fil-A (her favorite). She’s been wanting a lunch buddy, but her parents all work, so I offered to step in. I’ll admit, going to school always makes me a little nervous as it brings back memories of being teased in school. Hopefully the third graders will be kind to this old grandma!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Thank you, Susan! And, of course, I did! (Except I may have some hearing loss now.) It was so fun to meet some of her friends and put faces to the names I’ve been hearing!
