Beautiful Hello
Welcome back to Stamping with Buffy! If you know me or have been following me for a while, you will know that one of my Stamping Besties (probably my best Stamping Bestie!) is Susan Horr. Susan is an incredible demonstrator and creates the most beautiful cards.
A few days after Christmas, Susan posted about her daughter-in-law Tara. Tara is in charge of a program at Vanderbilt working to improve the end of life experience for patients and their families, She has asked for handmade sympathy cards to send to families. If you can, any cards you can send her would be helpful. (Envelopes are also appreciated!) Please send them to:
Tara Horr
2147 Belcourt Avenue
Nashville, TN 37212
Susan assured me that this is her work address, so it’s ok to post it.
I sent a few cards after Christmas, and I received this gorgeous card in return. I was going to send a thank you for the thank you, but Susan said that would be weird.
Isn’t that beautiful? This is definitely Susan’s style, and when I asked she said it was one in a box of cards she made for Tara last year. I think the stamp set and gorgeous sentiment dies have retired, but Stampin’ Up!® has lots of similar flower sets that can be used. I know she used Pool Party and Purple Posy (an In Color that recently retired), and maybe some Mint Macaron. And I love the little Pastel Pearls. Don’t you agree that Susan’s style is so clean and beautiful?
I was so thrilled to get this, and it was so sweet of Tara to send it. If you’re able to send some sympathy cards for Tara’s awesome project, it will be a blessing to many people.
And while I’m promoting the Horr family, Tara and Sam’s daughter Madelyn (Susan’s oldest grand) is selling Girl Scout cookies. If you need a cute little Girl Scout Cookie supplier, click here. Besides the returning favorites, they have some new flavors! Check it out!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
Thanks so much for promoting Tara and Madelyn! You are the best! IFLY!!
