Framed & Festive Greetings
Welcome back to Stamping with Buffy. I hope your week has been fun and productive. I got to take Miss Amelia to school the past couple of days, and I had so much fun hanging out with her before school and chatting in the car.
I realized that many of my friends have already mailed their Christmas cards, but I’ve barely started on mine. Time to get moving, right?
The Framed Florets Stamp Set and Dies are in the January-April Mini Catalog (use the bundle number to save 10%), but Stampin’ Up!® released them early, along with a set of embellishments, designer series paper (DSP) and the Framed & Festive Stamp Set that coordinates with the Framed Florets Dies. So fun! Sadly, the DSP, embellishments and Framed & Festive set are while supplies last or until January4; these products are not in the new mini. But I needed some quick Christmas cards, so I pulled mine out. And this card came together in less than 10 minutes.
I started with a piece of Boughs of Holly DSP from the July-December Mini. I added it to a Mossy Meadow card base, then die-cut the Mossy Meadow frame and Basic White center using the Framed Florets Dies. (And how happy are we all that the dies and stamps now share the same name?) The dies cut both layers at the same time. Ordinarily I would have die-cut both from Basic White Cardstock, then blended ink on the frame part, but I needed a quick card, so I simply ran the die through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss with the Mossy Meadow and then again with the Basic White.
The Real Red sentiment is from the Framed & Festive Stamp Set. I added some Mossy Meadow greenery from the Christmas Season Stamp set (a fun carry-over from last year).
I added a few Copper Brushed Metallic Dots and my card was finished. So simple! I have a feeling this sketch and group of products will be used on a lot of my cards this year!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

A beautiful card, and no one would guess it was ‘quick’!

Thank you, Deborah! It really only took 10 minutes – and that included the “dithering” over color choices.

This card is gorgeous, Buffy. It certainly does not look quick (which makes it perfect)!
