Framed Florets

Framed Florets

Stampin’ Up!® is pre-releasing the Fitting Florets Collection from the January-June 2023 Mini Catalog in November. The collection includes the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper (DSP), Framed Florets Bundle – which includes the Framed Florets Stamp Set and Framed Florets Dies (you can buy them separately or bundle them with the stamp set to save 10%), Framed & Festive Stamp Set, and Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls. You can purchase the products together as a collection or individually beginning in November. Of course, you can also wait until the release of the Mini Catalog in January, but why would you want to? (In case you haven’t noticed, patience is not one of my virtues!)

One of the benefits of being a Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator is we get to pre-order most products a month early, so I already have the collection. Here’s a little sneak peek sample for you.

Framed Florets, Fitting Florets, Stampin' Up!

I die-cut the oval using a piece of the Fitting Florets DSP. The die cut both the inside oval (Night of Navy floral) and the outside layer (Soft Succulent) at the same time. Next, I cut the frame from Balmy Blue Cardstock. After I embossed a 3″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic White Cardstock with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, I added the three die-cuts to it, lining them up to make a framed picture.

I layered the embossed Basic White Cardstock to a 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Night of navy Cardstock, then to a Soft Succulent card base.

I stamped three flowers and one pair of leaves in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White Cardstock, die-cut them with the coordinating dies, and then colored them with Soft Succulent and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends. I added them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I totally forgot I wanted to add the Adhesive-Backed swirls to the centers of the flowers until after I dabbed on a bit of Clear Wink of Stella Glitter. But glitter is just as good, right?

I wanted a sentiment, but I didn’t want to cover too much of the beautiful DSP, so I stamped the Thank you from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set in Night of Navy Classic Ink on a Basic White Cardstock scrap and die-cut it with the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies.

Did you notice that both the stamp set and the dies in the bundle are called Framed Florets? Yes! Instead of having to remember the names of two products, the stamps and dies will have the same name now. I’m so happy! I don’t know if it’s because we have so many more products now or because I’m much older than when  started, but I never had trouble remembering names of products when I was a newer demonstrator. This will make it so much easier!

Remember that you can join my Stampin’ Up! team during October and select $155 in product of your choice (inlcuding this fabulous new collection!) for only $99. Your state tax will be included, but shipping is free. You’ll immediately begin receiving a 20% discount on all your orders, access to Stampin’ Up!® training, social media groups, and much more.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Product List (Please note: Since the Fitting Florets Collection is not available except to demonstrators, none of the products in the collection are in the product list.)

Thanks, Susan! I am so happy to have ovals back! (And, I agree about the “great minds!” Funny – when I was posting this, I kept thinking, “I’ll bet Susan posts this bundle too!”)
