Boughs of Holly
If you love using traditional Christmas colors in your holiday cards, you will love the Boughs of Holly Suite Collection. The paper is gorgeous, and the Leaves of Holly Bundle is so fun. I love the Textural Elements that you can color with our fabulous Stampin’ Blends, and the Natural 1/2″ Woven Ribbon adds so much to any holiday card. Here’s a card I made with the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Leaves of Holly Bundle.
This card is so easy to create when you use the Leaves of Holly Bundle. First, I cut a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ piece of the Boughs of Holly DSP and adhered it to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Evening Evergreen Cardstock. Next, I stamped two of the leaves from the Leaves of Holly Stamp Set on Basic White Cardstock using Evening Evergreen Classic Ink, then die-cut them with the Holly Berry Dies. I also used the Holly Berry Dies to die-cut the label from Evening Evergreen Cardstock, then heat embossed the sentiment using Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I also had stamped the berries and added some Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics to them, but, sadly, they didn’t dry fast enough to add them to the card. And, more sadly, I kept accidentally setting things on top of them before they dried. *sigh* I will add them to the card when the second batch dries!
After I finished, I realized I needed just a bit more, so I added some Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems to the card. Because every Christmas card needs a little sparkle, don’t you think?
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

This is a beautiful card, Buffy. I especially like the gold embossing and the touch of sparkle.
