One Little Box – So Much Fun

One Little Box – So Much Fun

Happy Monday, my friends! I had such a lovely weekend; I hope you did too! Mike & I did some little odds and ends around the house, but mostly, we relaxed! We haven’t both had a weekend at home to relax in a long time, so it was fun!

Amelia’s mom (Stephanie) and Steph’s mom (Kat) have been teaching a kids’ art camp the past several weeks. Katelyn asked me if I’d like to go with her today. It was so fun! Kat is an excellent teacher, and, even though I didn’t technically participate in the class, I learned so much about Cubism. (Who knew the ancient Egyptians and Picasso thought the same way?) My Wesley is also very talented, and Miss Amelia is following right along in her parents’ footsteps. In fact, she gave me several pieces of her art before we left today. One was created using a fun technique I use for backgrounds, so it made me happy!

I want to show you some new crafting kits from Stampin’ Up!®. First, there’s the August Paper Pumpkin Kit – Sweet Sunflowers. The Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin Kit has so much in store—elegant watercolor designs hand-crafted by our in-house artists, TWO Classic Stampin’ Spots for a Two-Step stamping experience, and the all-new twist technique to make your floral designs come alive with depth and detail! Of course, we don’t get to see it before it’s released, but the sneak peeks are gorgeous.

I cannot wait to get this! And there’s a free gift – the Gold Foil Overlays! So fun. But you need to subscribe by August 10 to get this kit. Subscribe here  by August 10 to receive your Sweet Sunflowers kit.

And now – do you realize Christmas is less than five months away? The newest kit in the Kits Collection is a Christmas themed card! The Cozy & Bright Kit has everything you need to create 12 beautiful cards. They can be Christmas cards, of course, but they can also be adapted to any winter theme.

Take some of the stress out of holiday preparations with this gorgeous card kit. You’ll get printed cards and envelopes, stamps, ink, an acrylic block and all the embellishments needed. You can order your kit(s) here. One of my favorite things about our card kits is they’re beautiful, yet still simple to assemble, so they’re perfect to create with your kids or grandkids. Heat up some spiced cider or some hot cocoa and create beautiful memories together.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
