What a Wonderful World

Happy Friday, my friends! Are you enjoying the Stampin’ Up!® Sale-a-bration? I sure am! But, really, who doesn’t love free products? And they are amazing! For classes this month, I used the Wonderful World Stamp Set and Designer Series Paper (DSP) for one of the cards. This is a little different than the one for class, but I think I like it better!

I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut the Polished Pink and Basic White Cardstock layers. (The rest of the Polished Pink piece was used as a mask to create this card.) Next, I used Orchid Oasis and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers to ink the iris. Before I inked the entire stamp, I used the Orchid Oasis punched bottle as a guide to make sure I wouldn’t have leaves sticking out of the side of the bottle like magic.

I stamped the bottle detail from the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set in Starry Sky Classic Ink on the Orchid Oasis bottle, punched with the Vintage Bottle Punch. I added it with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the iris. I adhered this piece to the Polished Pink layer with Seal Adhesive.

Isn’t this design of the Wonderful World DSP so pretty? In class, we used the “non-floral” side of the DSP with a piece of the Vellum Layering Designs over it, but I just couldn’t cover up this beautiful paper. I adhered it to the Basic White card base, then added the Stitched Rectangles layers over it, again with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set. I bought the bundle, of course, so I could save 10%. The coordinating Sentiment Silhouettes Dies are included in the bundle. I stamped the sentiment in Starry Sky Classic Ink, then die-cut it with the appropriate die. I adhered it to the bottle with Seal Adhesive in the very center and Stampin’ Dimensionals on the left and right ends. This way, it was on the same level as the bottle, and it didn’t add any more bulk.
