Marbled Seascape

Marbled Seascape

Greetings from the mountains, my friends! I’m having a lazy time here, although I’m getting lots of exercise. Max takes 4-6 walks every day; I think he gets bored. But I’m getting lots of reading done! Sadly, I didn’t pack any crafting supplies to take with me. It’s a long story that I will share one day, but I already had so much to bring down here, I decided to spend the three days reading and putting our house back in order.

I did have a lot of time to craft before I left, though, and here’s one of the cards I made.

I am loving the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin’ Up!® Sale-a-bration, aren’t you? Just a reminder – there’s less than a week left to enjoy the fun and free Sale-a-bration products and to add two stamp sets to your starter kit when you join the Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator family!

For this card, I used a piece of the Misty Moonlight Simply Marbleous DSP. It looks so much like water, don’t you think? I layered it to a piece of Misty Moonlight Cardstock that I had already die-cut with the Layering Diorama Dies, and then to a Calypso Coral card base. Next I added some die-cut fish, coral, and seaweed using the Sea Life Dies and Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, and Mossy Meadow Cardstock. That’s all there is to it! I don’t think a card can be much more simple than this.

I didn’t use the Seascape Stamp Set, but if you bundle the stamps with the Sea Life Dies, you can save 10%. Who doesn’t love to save some money, right?

I didn’t add a sentiment, because I’m not sure how I’m using this card yet. It will probably be for Mike or another of my ocean loving friends/family.

Next month, you’ll be able to order another early release product from the upcoming 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog called Waves of the Ocean. I’ll have some sneak peeks for you on Friday.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
