Hello, Friend!
Happy Wednesday, my crafty friends! I may have mentioned in passing that I love Stampin’ Up!® Sale-a-bration. It’s the best time of the year, because you get free products! Every time you spend $50, you can select a free product from the Sale-a-bration brochure. New team members can add two stamp sets* to their starter kit – Free!! The starter kit contains $125 in Stampin’ Up! product of your choice for only $99. And if you host a qualifying party, you can add the beautiful Calming Camellia Stamp Set to your order – also free. That’s on top of the already fun rewards you get for hosting a party. It’s a win/win/win.
*Host sets and Sale-a-bration sets are excluded from this offer.
On top of that, every time you spend $50, you can write your name in a square on my 50/50 chart. When it’s full, I’ll draw a name and the lucky winner will get a Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine from me.
One of the free bundles available during Sale-a-bration is the Friendly Hello Stamp Set and Friendly Hello 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP). You can select this bundle when you spend $100 during Sale-a-bration.
Isn’t that little bird so sweet? He seems to be bringing springtime melodies, just for you!
To create this card, I stamped the bird on a branch on Basic White Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then I colored it with Stampin’ Write Markers and die-cut it with the Layering Diorama Dies.
I cut a 5-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of the Friendly Hello DSP and adhered it to the side of a Fresh Freesia card base. I added a few splatters around the bird and on the card base, then adhered the die-cut over the paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment is also stamped in Tuxedo Black ink. Because it just fit, I used my Stamparatus to be sure the image was stamped properly on the paper. (For classes, I cut the paper a little wider so this wouldn’t be a frustration for some.)
Finally, I added some of the lovely Iridescent Rhinestones from the January-June Mini Catalog to the flower centers. I love these little gems; they pick up whatever color you’re using at the time and are the perfect accessory.
Be sure to send me your mailing address if you need a mini catalog and/or Sale-a-bration brochure and I’ll send them out! (US only, please.)
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Thanks, Deborah! It does look like random stamping, doesn’t it? I’m glad SU made it easy for those of us who are a little, um, lazy!
