New Horizons
Welcome back, craft friends! I hope your new year is off to a great start. I’ve had a wonderful time trying out some of the new products from the January-June Mini Catalog. It goes live tomorrow (January 4); can you believe it? I’m so excited. Sale-a-bration also begins tomorrow, so get your shopping lists ready!
Today, of course, is the last day to order retiring items from the July-December Mini Catalog, so if there are any products you want, be sure to order today. Some things have already sold out, so don’t miss anything else you’d like.
I was playing with the New Horizons Suite from the upcoming mini. It’s so much fun. The New Horizons Designer Series Paper is so beautiful. You can add a few die-cut or stamped images, or you can use it all on its own. I paired my card today with the On the Horizon Bundle (On the Horizon Stamp Set and Horizon Dies).
Isn’t that gorgeous? I stamped a few trees and grass using Evening Evergreen Ink, then added some die-cut grass in Old Olive. I sponged the die-cut fence with a little Crumb Cake Ink to weather it a little, then glued it to the front of the card. Multipurpose Liquid Glue is perfect for this because you can scrunch it around to give it more dimension,
The sky needed a little something, so I stamped the birds in Night of Navy Ink and the Sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento. Finally, I added it to a Fresh Freesia card base.
The other products in the bundle (that I forgot to use) are some cute Enamel Pebbles and a combo pack of cotton ribbon (Misty Moonlight and Petal Pink).
I think you’re going to love this suite. There are so many possibilities. And, of course, I’m a beach lover, so it was at the top of my list.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
I also love this DSP. It is beautiful all by itself. I love the added fence on yours. (BTW, great minds think alike which you will see soon!)
