Eden’s Garden in Polished Pink

Eden’s Garden in Polished Pink

Is it just me or did that last week really fly by fast? Of course, it is a very busy time of the year, so days do seem to disappear before I get everything done!

I’ve been enjoying playing with the Stampn’ Up!® Eden’s Garden Collection, particularly the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). It’s so beautiful, and it’s going away so quickly! The Eden’s Garden Stamp Set and Eden Dies (bundle and save 10%) are in the upcoming Stampin’ Up!® January-June Mini Catalog. But the Ever Eden DSP and Ever Eden Cotton Paper are only available through January 3 or while supplies last. The DSP has beautiful floral designs with splashes of Gold Foil accents. Gorgeous! And the Cotton Paper is similar to origami paper – very thin and great for folding. I used the leaf die to cut several leaves from the Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent Cotton Paper, and the border die to cut a border from the Cotton Paper. I placed these on a white candle, then wrapped it in waxed paper and heated until the paper melted into the candle. Gorgeous!!

Here’s another idea.

Ever Eden, Stampin' Up!

Most of my Ever Eden projects use lots of green, so I wanted a little more color in this card. I stamped the floral image in Polished Pink (my favorite pink right now), then cut it out using one of the Eden Dies. This die cuts a beautiful frame, but in this case, I kept the center and saved the frame for another project. Before I continued, though, I realized there was a lot of white space, so I had to fill it up with Soft Succulent stamped greenery. (For my second card with this idea, I turned the greenery stamp around so you can see more greenery and fewer stems!)

Next, I die-cut another frame using the Ever Eden DSP. I love that there are touches of gold in it! I adhered the frame to a Polished Pink card base, then inserted the center, stamped piece back into the frame.

Next, I die-cut the tag and stamped one of the Eden’s Garden sentiments on it, then adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a little more color, I added some Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon to the edges of the tag/card. I also added a bit of Essential Baker’s Twine behind the sentiment.

Before I send this, I’ll probably add a little more “bling” to it. I love it the way it is, but I think it needs just a little more sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a fabulous week!

When I saw the title, I thought hmmm, polished pink with that bundle? But this is a LOVELY card. Sometimes strong colors make much more of a statement
