One of the fun things about Stampin’ Up!® events is Prize Patrol. This year at OnStage we got three new products from the upcoming January-June Mini Catalog free – including the Amazing Silhouettes Stamp Set.
My order from OnStage came today so I played a little this afternoon.
I inked the butterfly stamp from the Amazing Silhouettes Stamp Set using Pale Papaya Classic Ink. Then I used a Sponge Dauber to add a little Fresh Freesia ink around the Pale Papaya, then stamped on Basic White Cardstock. I love the mottled look!
I decided to create a note card, so cut a 5″ x 7″ piece of Fresh Freesia Cardstock, then scored at 3-1/2″ to create the card base. I cut a 3″ x 4-1/2″ piece of the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (DSP), then stamped the sentiment using Gorgeous Grape Classic Ink. I love stamping sentiments right on the DSP. This sentiment is from the Friendly Hello Stamp Set that you’ll be able to earn during Sale-a-bration in January/February 2022. I added the DSP to the front of the card then added the ribbon. I laid a piece of Highland Heather Grosgrain Ribbon across the side of the card, then a piece of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon over it.
After I cut the stamped image with Paper Snips, I added it to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals then placed a few of the new Irridescent Rhinestones to the front of the card. The rhinestones are another new product that will be in the January-June Mini Catalog.
This was such a fun and simple card to create. If you use the Stamparatus, you can create multiple cards to have on hand. This image can work with any sentiment, so you can simply change the sentiment and colors and have cards for any occasion. A set of 4-8 would make a wonderful gift as well. You could simplify the process even more by creating the cards using the Gift Cards and Envelopes.
Do take advantage of the Seasonal Sale that started Tuesday. The sale runs through tomorrow, so order today! It’s a great time to stock up on card stock, ink, and dies!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Buffy this is so pretty. Thank you for the preview of this set. Mine will arrive some day, but this gets my juices flowing
Thanks, Jackie! Next time I think I’ll use a darker purple, though!
I love what you did with this set. The extra Fresh Freesia adds a lot. I can’t wait to get mine!
Thanks, Susan! I can’t wait to see what you do. (I do think darker colors work better, though.)
The colour combination is so pretty!
Thanks, Deborah! These are two of my favorite colors. (Today anyway! My favorites change on a regular basis.)
