Peaceful Cabin with Watercolor Pencils
As I write this, I’m a little sad, because I know we’ll be heading home from vacation in another day. But, at the same time, I’m happy to be heading home. I’m planning to visit a team member on the way home – which I am totally looking forward to – and, of course, I’m really looking forward to see our dog and cats. From all reports from Virginia, the cats and dog are doing well. But I just want to see for myself how they are doing. So while I love being here, enjoying warm temps and sunny days, I’m also looking forward to being home.
This is one of my favorite cards I’m posting this week. It’s also my swap for September.
I know my last card also used the Peaceful Cabin Bundle. But it was only one in seven gorgeous cards using the same “Mystery Pieces.” This one is all by itself.
First, I embossed the front of the Sahara Sand card base with the Timber Embossing Folder from the Stampin’ Up!® July – December Mini Catalog. Next I added I piece of the 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP) in Evening Evergreen to the card front over the embossing.
I stamped the cabin in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, the trees in Evening Evergreen Classic Ink and the fox in Cajun Craze Classic Ink on Sahara Sand Cardstock, then die-cut them with the Cabin Dies that coordinate with the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set. (Order the bundle and save 10%.)
After adding all the die-cut pieces to a Sahara Sand Cardstock Background, I added that to a Basic Black background, then added it to the card. Finally, I added a few of the Subtle Shimmer Sequins to the card.
I am totally loving the Peaceful Cabin Bundle, and I hope you are too. Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. I hope you have an amazing day!
