Stamp Off Inspiration Challenge
Welcome to another Stamp Off Challenge from Jackie, Susan, and me. This week, we have an inspiration challenge, and it was so fun! Here’s the inspiration photo.
Aren’t those colors fun? I decided to use the colors and the idea of rectangles for my card.
To create this card, first add some Smoky Slate Classic Ink to the front of the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Place Basic White cardstock into the folder, making sure only the bottom 1 to 1-1/2″ are in the folder. This will add texture and color to the card.
Next, create frames from Bumblebee, Pacific Point, Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, and Coastal Cabana Cardstock using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Add the frames to the stamped/embossed Basic White piece.
Stamp the container image from the Simply Succulents Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Smoky Slate Cardstock. Die-cut this with the Potted Succulents Dies.
Using the Potted Succulents Dies, die-cut some greenery from Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, and Evening Evergreen Cardstock. Add them behind the container, then add to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment from Badger Besties on the inside piece of the Coastal Cabana frame using Pacific Point Classic Ink. Add it to the center of the coordinating frame using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Badger Besties is another stamp set chosen by Amelia. She loves the “Frances” books, so I ordered this set for her. I’m working on a card for her that uses the “reverse image” technique.
Add the Basic White layer to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Pacific Point Cardstock, then to a Basic White card base.
I went through several ideas before I settled on this one, so I’m very curious to see what Susan and Jackie did for this challenge. I cannot wait! Please take a few minutes today to check out Susan’s and Jackie’s blogs. I know they’ll appreciate it if you can leave a comment as well.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
