Count on Me
When the new Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog came out, I let Amelia go through and put “sticky notes” on the pages with stamp sets she wanted. I was not surprised when every page with animals had a sticky.
One of the sets she chose was Count on Me. It has such cute little creatures, and works well with the Picture This and Give it a Whirl Dies, so, of course, I bought it.
First, I used one of the Picture This Dies to die-cut circle windows in a piece of Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (DSP). This paper is 15% this month, by the way, so take advantage!
Next, I laid the DSP over Basic White Cardstock, being careful to place it where it would end up after I adhered it. I didn’t want to adhere yet, just in case I needed to “redo” something.
I stamped the bird, koalas, and fox in the larger circles using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then colored with Stampin’ Blends. When I was happy with it, I adhered the DSP over the stamped piece, then added it to a Garden Green card base.
For the final touch, I added the DSP back into the smaller holes, but with the reverse side showing.
Don’t forget the DSP sale this month! Besides the Beauty of the Earth design, there are eight others that are 15% off. You can see them here. There are always paper designs that I love, but this year, I want them all! This is a great time to stock up.
I hope you have a fun weekend planned! I will be mowing, I think, so not super exciting, but it’s a good chance to get some sunshine and exercise.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
