Hey, Chick!

Hey, Chick

Happy Friday, Stamping Friends! We have reached the end of a very cold week here in Virginia. I’m ready for spring.

Hey Chick & Hey Birthday Chick

Do you remember the Hey, Chick Stamp Set from Sale-a-bration a few years ago? It was a fun set, and I especially loved the chick with the crazy hair. Well, that stamp set is back and there’s a coordinating set of dies! Beginning February 2, you’ll be able to order the Hey, Chick Stamp Set and Chick Dies as well as the Hey, Birthday Chick Stamp Set and Birthday Chick Dies. You can also bundle the stamps and dies together to save 10%.

The dies are so cute! Chicken wire, fence, corn stalks, all the chickens and more! You can order the bundles or order the dies or stamp sets separately. The Hey, Chick Stamp Set (#158190) is $17.00, and the Chick Dies (#158199) are $32. The Hey, Birthday Chick Stamp Set (#154464) is $21.00 and the Birthday Chick Dies (#158200) are $27.00. And since Sale-a-bration (SAB) is still ongoing in February, if you order both bundles and, say, some cardstock, some Stampin’ Blends, or other products for about $13, you will be able to add two Level One or one Level Two SAB product to your order for FREE! You know you want the Berry Blessings Stamp set and Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper, right? This is your chance to get that SAB offering as well as two adorable bundles.

Here are a few samples using the bundles.

Snow Day with Amelia

Because of the threat of inclement weather, area schools were closed this past Monday and Tuesday. I got to hang out with Miss Amelia, and we had so much fun. She likes to play “Store.” She sets up a shop and I buy things. We use pretend money, but often she just gives things away. Monday, I heard, “Store’s Open!” so I went to her room to shop. I found some things and tried to check out. “Oh, no. You don’t buy anything. This is the doctor’s office and it’s time for your checkup.” Well, that seemed a little like bait and switch, but ok.

She sat me in a rocking chair, then informed me that first, I was getting a tattoo. She drew a lovely flower on my arm, as well as a person on my hand, using two of my fingers as legs and my nails as feet. (This is not what I was expecting when I went into her store.)

Next, she informed me it was time for my surgery. “My what?” Yes, I did hear that correctly. She was going to cut into my brain and find my memories. As much as I would love to have all of my memories right at hand, I didn’t think we’d have time for extensive brain surgery, so I distracted her until Wes got here to pick her up. Life is never dull with that one around.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

That Amelia is the funniest and most creative child! I am glad she didn’t find your memories. She might have removed them by accident!

She is hilarious. She’s always coming up with something that makes me laugh. Today, I was fixing lunch and she wanted me to see something she was doing. I said, “I can look in a minute when I’m finished here. Or you could bring it here to show me, because you’re legs are much younger than mine.” “Seesa, I’m keeping you young.”
