Jar of Flowers

Jar of Flowers

I’ve mentioned before that when new catalogs come out, I tend to ignore Annual Catalog products for a time. I decided to pull out one of my favorites, Jar of Flowers, to create a simple card.

Jar of Flowers, Stampin' Up!

I stamped the jar, stems and the flowers  on Basic White Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then colored the flowers and stems with Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, and Just Jade Stampin’ Blends. Basically, that’s all there is to it. Easy, right?

The Jar of Flowers Stamp Set has a coordinating punch. If you order the stamps and punch as a bundle, you will save 10%.

I layered the stamped panel to a slightly larger piece of Misty Moonlight Cardstock, then added a piece of Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (DSP). This DSP is one of the free Sale-a-bration products you can select with a $50 order. It’s beautiful.

There’s definitely a whole field of flowers in that paper, don’t you think? Just for fun, I colored some of the Opal Rounds from the January-June Mini Catalog with a Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend and added a few to the card.

Sale-a-bration is in full swing right now. If you join my team for $99, you can select $125 worth of product of your choice, plus you’ll get five packs of 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper. These include Brights, Neutrals, Regals, Subtles, and the 2020-2022 In Colors in the brand new design that will be in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog! When you shop, you can select free product for every $50 or $100 you spend, and if you host a qualifying party, you will receive a free stamp set along with the regular host rewards. It’s a win-win-win!

Basic White Is Here!

I’m also happy to announce that these Basic White products are available now.

  • BASIC WHITE 8-1/2″ X 11″ CARDSTOCK (159276)
  • BASIC WHITE 8-1/2″ X 11″ THICK CARDSTOCK (159229)
  • BASIC WHITE 12″ X 12″ (30.5 X 30.5 CM) CARDSTOCK (159231)
  • BASIC WHITE 3″ X 3″ (7.6 X 7.6 CM) ENVELOPES (159233)

I love the Basic White Cardstock. It’s a bit brighter than Whisper White (in my opinion, anyway), and takes the ink just as well or better. You’re going to love it!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
