More from Dragonfly Garden
I had a lovely time in my craft room yesterday! I created several cards using new sets from the upcoming Stampin’ Up!® January-June Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-bration Brochure. Two of my cards were CASEd almost directly from the catalogs, but this one is all mine. (Although…I saw one very like it on Facebook today. I guess there really is nothing new “under the sun!”)
Isn’t this lovely? I love stamping directly onto Designer Series Paper (DSP), and this pattern worked perfectly for that. I stamped the flowers from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set on the Dandy Garden DSP using Mossy Meadow Classic Ink. Then I colored the flowers using Stampin’ Blends (Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, and Old Olive).
I punched the dragonfly image from another design of the DSP using the Dragonfly Punch. I love when our DSP coordinates with punches or dies, don’t you? The sentiment is also from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set; I stamped it using Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink.
The card base is Rich Razzleberry, and the extra strip of card stock is Just Jade. Fun!
This stamp set and the DSP and punch will be in the Stampin’ Up!® January-June Mini Catalog, and you can order it beginning January 5. Of course, if you’re a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, you can preorder these products beginning in December. It’s one of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator. (And, of course, it’s one of my favorite perks!)
I hope you’re having a lovely week. I won’t get much crafting time tomorrow; it’s going to be a crazy day! But I have a super fun (and incredibly easy) shaker card to show you on Friday! I have wanted to have a shaker card option at my classes, but they can be a bit intimidating and “worky.” We learned a shortcut last weekend at the OnStage event, and I can’t wait to show you!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
Product List (Note that the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set and Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ DSP are not included in the list. That’s because you can’t purchase them right now and I didn’t want to tease you.)
