I had a little time to play this morning, so I made this Thanksgiving/thank you card.
I stamped the leaves from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set on Very Vanilla Cardstock using Early Espresso Ink. I colored them with Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.
Next, I cut a piece of Plaid Tidings DSP, then die-cut the bottom edge with the Curvy Dies for a fun border. On another piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock, I stamped the milk can and floral arrangement using Basic Gray Classic Ink. I colored the milk can using Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends, and the flowers using Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.
To put it together, I fussy cut the floral arrangement and added it over the milk can with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set using Early Espresso Classic Ink, then rounded the corners of the stamped layers with the Detailed Trio Punch.
This was such a fun card to make. I love the country feel of the main images, as well as the beautiful fall colors. Don’t forget the 15% discount on selected Designer Series Papers – including the beautiful Plaid Tidings DSP. You can see all the discounted paper here.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

I love the leaves across the bottom, and the plaid background reminds me of a warm flannel shirt (can you tell it’s cold here, today?). Great card!

Thank you, Deborah. It does look like a flannel shirt! We’re finally getting some fall weather here. It’s quite a shock after very warm weather last week.

Buffy, this is such a lovely and peaceful card. I love the layout and coloring and of course the plaid DSP. I just don’t understand why Susan seems to blame me for these things??
