Forever Fern Stamp Off

Forever Fern Stamp Off

Welcome to another Stamp Off with Jackie, Susan, and me. This week, we’re using the Forever Fern Stamp Set/Bundle from the Forever Greenery Suite. The bundle includes both the Forever Fern Stamp Set and the Forever Flourishing Dies. If you bundle them together, you’ll save 10%. Besides the Forever Fern Bundle, the Suite also includes the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper (DSP), Forever Greenery Trim (includes Gold Trim and Vanilla Ribbon), Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper, Gold Hoops, and Greenery Embossing Folders. It’s a beautiful suite of products, and Stampin’ Up!® has made it easy to order the entire suite. Simply click on the Suite Collection. The link I included is for the English version; it’s also available in French.

Forever Greenery, Stampin' Up!

For my challenge entry, I used the Forever Greenery DSP, Forever Fern Stamp Set, and Forever Flourishing Dies.

Forever Fern, Forever Greenery, Stampin' Up!, Itty Bitty Birthdays

I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut a piece from the Forever Greenery DSP. I love the “stitching” around the opening, don’t you? I cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock slightly larger than the opening. After coloring an Acrylic Block with Mint Macaron, Just Jade, and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Write Markers, I spritzed with water, then stamped the inked block onto the Whisper White layer. After it dried, I added it behind the DSP.

Next, I stamped one of the greenery images from the Forever Fern Stamp Set in Just Jade Classic Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, then die-cut with the Forever Flourishing Dies. I stamped another image using Pretty Peacock, and die-cut it as well as the Shaded Spruce and Copper Foil images. I added them inside and around the die-cut opening.

The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays. I stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce Classic Ink on a scrap of Mint Macaron Cardstock, then die-cut it and the Copper Foil circle using the Layering Circle Dies.

You may notice some embellishments. They are retired White Enamel Dots that I colored with Just Jade and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. You can color Frosted & Clear Enamel Dots, Rhinestone or Pearl Jewels, or use the Flowers for Every Season Enamel Gems.

So that’s my card! Now, head over to Jackie’s and Susan’s blogs to see what they’ve done with this set!

Thank you for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
