Love of Leaves

Love of Leaves

Here’s another sneak peek from the Stampin’ Up!® August-December Mini Catalog. Look at these beautiful fall colors.

Love of Leaves, Stampin' Up!, Magic in this Night

Now that the boys are grown and have moved out of the house, we don’t do anything for Halloween. But I couldn’t resist buying the beautiful Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the A-D Mini Catalog. One side has spiders or bats, but the reverse side of each design is beautiful! Actually, some of the spider and bats designs are also quite pretty – but they’re spiders and bats. The colors in the DSP are Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Basic Black, and Pretty Peacock. What a gorgeous combination!

I knew I wanted to play with the Love of Leaves Bundle today, and, oh, what fun that was! The Love of Leaves Stamps coordinate with the Stitched Leaves Dies (and you can bundle them for a 10% savings). The dies leave a stitched border around the negative space (where the leaves are cut out of the card stock) and there’s an insert for each leaf that creates stitched veins.

I die-cut three leaves from a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Pretty Peacock Cardstock. Then I die-cut three more leaves and veins from Blackberry Bliss, Cinnamon Cider, and Cajun Craze Cardstock and popped them up in the appropriate spaces with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next, I cut a 1-1/2″ x 4″ piece of the Magic in this Night DSP and layered it to the side of the Pretty Peacock Cardstock.  I stamped thank you in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink between the leaves and adhered the Pretty Peacock layer to a Blackberry Bliss card base.

Remember, the products from the Mini Catalog won’t be available until August 4 (unless you’re a Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator).

Bonus Days, Stampin' Up!

Don’t forget that you have through next Monday, August 3, to earn Bonus Days Coupons! For every $50 you spend, you’ll receive a coupon code to spend August 4-31. The new A-D Mini Catalog goes live on the 4th, so you’ll have a little extra to shop with!

North American Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators  will also get new online stores on August 4. They will be easier to use, work well with mobile devices as well as desk-and laptops, have larger images of products, a simpler check-out process, and will let you know what will be retiring or is backordered or running low in inventory. The new store will also offer a feedback feature. Feel free to use it to let us know what you love and what could use a little tweaking!

One note – your current bookmarks and links will forward you to the new store. However, your browser will see it as a new site, so if you rely on your browser to remember your login information (email and password), it will not associate the new site with the saved information the first time you log in. You’ll need to manually add your login information the first time. If you’re like me, you may have forgotten your password. No problem! You can easily reset it using the “Forgot Password” link.

As always, if you have any problems, reach out to me and I’ll help you out!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

So pretty! I’m with you, Buffy – leave the spiders & bats outside! The leaves are much prettier 🙂
