Flowers for Every Season

Flowers for Every Season

Welcome to another Friday Stamp Off! with Jackie, Susan, and me. This week, we’re showing off our favorite Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Well, that’s kind of misleading. If I was going to show off my favorite DSP, I’d have a piece of every one we offer, because I love them all. Sadly, though, I tend to hoard DSP (as well as ribbon and embellishments), so I’m trying to reign in my impulses. I am geting better, though.

I decided to use the Flowers for Every Season DSP for this challenge. It really does have flowers for every season. And the designs are gorgeous! The flowers are lovely, and the reverse sides are so beautiful.

Flowers for Every Season, Stampin' Up!, Country Home

See what I mean? Gorgeous! I cut a piece of 3-3/4″ x 5″ DSP diagonally (twice) to get the four triangles. Then I adhered the DSP to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Poppy Parade Cardstock with fronts of the DSP at the top and bottom and the backs on the sides.

I die-cut two Stitched Shapes Dies, one from Whisper White Cardstock and a larger one from Just Jade Cardstock, and stamped the sentiment from Country Home on the smaller circle. I layered the circles together, then adhered them to the center of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The card base is Cinnamon Cider.

So today, Flowers for Every Season is my absolute favorite DSP. Tomorrow, who knows? In Good Taste is right up there, because I love the wood and tile patterns. Ornate Garden has that gorgeous gold foil, and Playing with Patterns and Playful Pets are so fun. I don’t have Whale of a Time or World of Good (yet), but they’re on my shopping list. And I just got the Prized Peony Bundle, so that paper is also on my radar. And Forever Greenery is so beautiful; I use it a lot. I also don’t have the Artistry Blooms DSP yet. I wasn’t totally sold on it until I saw it in person. Oh, my goodness! Such lovely patterns. You can see why I had a hard time deciding on just one! I’m committed to using more DSP this year, so please, hold me accountable!

Now – please head over the Susan’s and Jackie’s blogs to see what their favorite DSP is today.

Don’t forget Bonus Days are happening this month. For every $50 you spend in July, you’ll receive a $5 coupon code to use in August. You can order 24/7 on my web site, and you don’t want to miss out on the savings. It’s like free shipping – but you get cool stuff that you’ll love. But don’t wait, because it ends August 3.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Buffy, I LOVE the way you’ve featured the DSP. This is stunning paper and you found a way to make it into such an interesting pattern. I guess I’m going to have to try triangles
