Today’s Plan

Ah, plans! It doesn’t matter how or when I make them, they usually get changed. I usually make sure I have a little “wiggle room” and try to be flexible, just in case. I never want my day to be so rigid that I don’t have time for family and friends.

I got the Nothing’s Better Than Stamp Set from the Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog before we left town for the holiday, but haven’t had time to use it yet. Fortunately, my friend Sandy sent me this card for a swap.

How cute is that? Sandy stamped the cookies in Early Espresso Classic Ink on Crumb Cake Cardstock. she die-cut cookies from Early Espresso Cardstock using the coordinating Love You More Than Dies. If you bundle the dies and stamps, you will save 10%.

The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso and the Crumb Cake and Early Espresso Cardstock layers are die-cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

After she sponged a little Crumb Cake ink around the edges of a piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, she added that to an Early Espresso card base, then added the die-cut cookies, labels and sentiment. So cute, don’t you think?

Our Office Administrator’s husband loves chocolate chip cookies. We discovered some really, really good ones at Costco several years ago, and a box of those have been his Christmas present every year, I think. Sadly, Mike usually buys them early in October or November, and we have to buy another box closer to Christmas for Jim. We need to wrap them as soon as we buy them. (Yeah, like that would keep us from eating them.) Did I mention they’re really good cookies? They’re thin and very crispy and better than anything I could bake.
