Celebrate Every Day
Today’s the day! The 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog goes live at noon MT today. I am so excited. My order is ready; all I have to do is key it in.
In the meantime, here’s a quick and simple card using products from the new catalog.
Since we’ve been holding our stamp classes and workshops virtually, my challenge has been to design cards that don’t need specific stamps. My stampers have all different tastes and they’re at all levels of stamping. Some are brand new stampers with few supplies; others have more than I do. We don’t all have the same stamps. So class cards have used mostly sentiment stamps. This is one of those cards. I wanted to use new products, and punches and dies seemed the way to go.
First, I punched the jar from 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP), then punched the lid from Gold Foil. Next, I hand-cut a straw from Coastal Cabana Cardstock and drew lines with a Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Marker. The bow on the jar is the metallic trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.
I layered it to a Pool Party stitched circle (one of the Stitched Shapes Dies), then to Whisper White Cardstock. The card needed a little something more, so I used the Small Bloom Punch to add a punched flower from Bumblebee Card Stock.
After I stamped the sentiment from the Many Mates Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight Classic Ink, I adhered the card to a Magenta Madness card base. To balance the card a bit more, I added some 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots.
I love the brightness of this card. Of course, there are so many things you can do with the Jar of Flowers Bundle (Jar Punch and Jar of Flowers Stamp Set). As always, if you purchase the bundle, you enjoy a 10% discount on the products.
Now – get your order ready and have fun shopping!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day.

How cute is this?? I love that you made a drinking glass out of it instead of a flower vase. I am definitely CASEing this one!

Buffy, this is DARLING!! You’ve really expanded the use of this set. Also, I think you’ve moved to the dark (CAS) side!

I can imagine a nice iced tea in that jar glass (maybe a long island iced tea?!). Love the colours – those enamel dots are so cute!
