Stampin’ Up!® Color Challenge

Hello, crafty friends! I hope you enjoyed a lovely weekend. Ours was very relaxing and quiet, and I got to spend a lot of time in my craft room. However, our internet was down while Mike & Jon changed our modem – and then we had to reset every device in the house that’s connected to the internet. Whew! (Hence the lateness of this post!)

I mentioned last week that Stampin’ Up!® is offering a #keepstamping challenge each week. This week, the colors are Lovely Lipstick, Blushing Bride, Gorgeous Grape, and Old Olive.

You can use one or all of the colors on your project. And, of course, if you don’t have the exact colors, you can use colors that are close. We just want everyone to #keepstamping!

I used all four colors with products from the Ornate Garden Suite, a Stampin’ Up!® 2020-2021 Annual Catalog “pre-release.” It will be in the new catalog in June, but it’s also available for your to order now! It’s always fun to have products from new catalogs a little early, don’t you think?

Here’s my card.

First, I stamped the floral image from the Ornate Style Stamp Set onto Whisper White Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then I colored with Highland Heather, Old Olive, Lovely Lipstick, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends and die-cut it with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Next, I embossed a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. I added that to a Gorgeous Grape card base.

Finally, I die-cut a Blushing Bride frame using the Ornate Layers Dies. You can bundle the dies and Ornate Style Stamp Set and save 10%. You can also order the entire Ornate Garden Suite now if you want lots of new products.

I adhered the stamped flowers to the frame, then added them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
