Ornate Garden Suite
This is not – repeat, not – an April Fool’s joke. Stampin’ Up!® is offering an early release of some products from the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. And it’s not just for a month; you can order products from this suite throughout the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog Sales Period.
You’re going to love the Ornate Garden Suite. And here’s some good news – you can order the entire suite or pieces of the suite. There are stamp sets and dies (that you can purchase separately or as a bundle to save 10%), embossing folders, designer series paper (DSP), embellishments…Well, take a look at these gorgeous products!
Don’t you love those borders dies? And the frames? And that DSP is gorgeous! Oh – and that ribbon…
Here’s an easier to read chart with prices and order numbers.
You can order this product beginning today (April 1, 2020 – no foolin’!). If you’re living in a “shelter in place” state for the next two and a half months (like Virginians), you’re going to need some craft therapy! Best news – there’s no contact. You can order online, then your order will be dropped on your doorstep via UPS – the professional “ding dong ditchers.” Of course, my UPS driver doesn’t ring the bell any more; he just drops and runs. I think he’s tired of hearing our dog bark. I’m not complaining, believe me! Max is very protective. If he thinks anyone is within five miles of our house, he starts barking, so I don’t mind if the UPS driver doesn’t get Max involved. I can see the driveway from my craft room (aka “quarantine central”) window, so I know when my package is delivered, with or without a bell.
I was hoping I’d get a lot of Amelia time now that she’s out of school for the year. However, her mom and both “steps” are working from home and on modified schedules, and Wesley has been on leave for two weeks (planned before the crisis). So my time with her has also been modified. It’s ok, though, because she has really enjoyed spending time with parents – and that’s a very good thing!
Katelyn (her step mom) is a planning genius. Her planners are absolutely gorgeous and so creative. She gives Amelia her old planners to play with. So Miss Amelia made a “Girls’ Secert (sic) Book; No Boys Allowed.” So cute! Only two boys can look at it – Katelyn’s brother Casey (who Amelia adores) and Wesley. They came to visit the other day (shhhhh – don’t tell our governor! But there were fewer than 10 of us and we have all been “quarantined” so none of us are contagious) and she wanted to play school. When she plays school, she always wants to be the teacher – and she is awesome at it.
Apparently Wesley was not paying attention, so he got sent to the principal’s office (Amelia’s bedroom at our house) for detention. He had to read a book on “Goodness” while he was there. It wasn’t too bad; he got snacks. But since he was in detention, Amelia gave Mike permission to read the Secret Book – but only while Wes was in detention. I’m so proud of her. She loves reading and writing notes to everyone. She misses her friends and teacher, but her parents are making sure she continues her school work every day.
Be sure to check back on Friday for another Stamp Off! Challenge with Jackie, Susan, and me. I can’t wait to see their fun fold cards!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
Love your family stories! Amelia is so sweet and your adventures are always so fun.
I must say this is a beautiful set as well ….
