Rise & Shine

Rise & Shine Stampers! It’s Monday – the beginning of a new week filled with possibilities! In case you’re not aware, we are in the middle of Stampin’ Up!® Sale-a-bration. During Sale-a-bration (ok, from now on, it will be SAB), you can earn a Level 1 SAB product free with a $50 order. Or you can earn a Level 2 (or two Level 1) SAB items with a $100 order. The total must be on the same order; you don’t earn anything for two $25 orders or five $20 orders. And there’s no limit – the more you spend in $50 increments, the more you earn.

You can also earn products when you host a party. You earn the host rewards you get from every party order, but if your total is $300 (USD) or more, you also earn the Lovely Ladybug Stamp Set.

And if you join my team during SAB, you still get $125 in current product of your choice for only $99, and you can add another stamp set of your choice PLUS the mini paper cutter and a Designer Series Paper (DSP) Sampler Pack.

Many stampers order so much during SAB that they end up with all the free product. So what then? Well – beginning March 3, you’ll have another group of free products to choose from – as well as the original products. Here’s the link to all the new products – more stamps, more gorgeous DSP, designer vellum – and many products coordinate with current products as well. So awesome!

Here’s a new Stamp Set from the second release that you will be able to order March 3. It coordinates with the Cup of Cheer Dies (remember that – from the 2019 Holiday Catalog?).

Rise & Shine, Sale-a-bration, Stampin' Up!

Of course, I had to order this set, because I kind of enjoy my morning coffee. If you know me, you’re probably rolling your eyes right now. I need my morning coffee. The first time I met Susan, we were in Orlando, FL, for a Stampin’ Up! Leadership event. As the afternoon lagged on, I needed a little pick-me-up. Ahhhh! There was a Starbucks machine! (Sadly all the coffee shops in the convention center were closed.) I put my money into the machine and pressed a button. Now, you must realize that the bottled Starbucks drinks are not my favorites. I do not like flavors. I do not like milk or cream in my coffee. I do not want sugar in my coffee. I just want coffee. So this is how desperate I was. I pressed the button – and….nothin’. Nothing came out. It was horrible. I kicked the machine. I shook the machine. Susan, of course, was wide-eyed and wondering why she had decided to befriend this obviously disturbed person. She talked me off the ledge and everything was fine. Every morning following, however, she brought me a coffee drink. (This is what real friends do, right?) I won’t talk about the year Susan melted down because she couldn’t get her water open. Suffice it to say, I repaid the favor, because I totally get it. Susan is my soul mate, I think.

For my card, I stamped the mugs in Blushing Bride and Bermuda Bay. I used my Stamparatus so I could add several layers of ink to the mugs. Then I die-cut the mugs with the Cup of Cheer Dies. I added the sunburst layer in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and the sentiment  in Highland Heather Classic Stampin’ Ink.

I also used my Stamparatus to add the sentiment. I inked but first using a Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Marker on the Whisper White Cardstock layer, then added coffee using Highland Heather Classic Ink.

I wanted to add a little DSP, so I found some Best Dressed DSP that worked really well with my colors and added it under the coffee mugs.

So have you placed your SAB order yet? If you have a wish list, this is the best time to order, because you can get free product with your order.  Don’t wait – because products are “while supplies last” – especially in the last month! Sale-a-bration ends March 31, so order now.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Great card. I love this color combination. Interesting that Susan had to bring you coffee to ensure that she would not be killed when a coffee machine falls on her.

I sure am glad your friend was there to bail you out!
I love the Christmas cup stamp and die set. Your card is perfect for friends.

“I also used my Stamparatus to add the sentiment. I inked but first using a Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Marker on the Whisper White Cardstock layer, ” Question
Was Stampin Write Marker used on the cup to color the white dots or maybe its stars on the outside of the cup that are white?

I used a stamp pad for the cup. The little star-ish images are etched into the stamp. So ink the cup with Bermuda Bay, stamp on Whisper White – the white part is the “negative” part of the stamp. You can see a few places where they look more like polka dots because I got a little too aggressive. Hope that makes sense!

I am not sure why I have a unhappy face by my name. Do you know?

I think you’re randomly assigned an “avitar.” Must have caught you before coffee. 🙂 You can change it to a personal photo in your settings if you don’t like having a green sad face.

I appreciate the feed back about your card, thanks. This is great to know that I don’t need to color each tiny area with a stamp and write pen.

Yep, photo of me before coffee! he he, looks like I was caught in the act. And I hear people say you can even be in your PJ’s and no one will know. Some one took my photo when I was not looking this AM.

Too funny! I remember this well. I was a little terrified afterwards which is why I stood in those long Starbucks lines to get you a cup!
