Lily Pad Thanks
Happy Monday, stamping friends! You should know that Sale-a-bration and the January-June Mini Catalog Sales period started last Friday. I love Sale-a-bration, don’t you? My first Sale-a-bration (or Celebration, as it was known way back then) was shortly after I became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. I had no idea what it was, but I read, “free,” and I was hooked.
During Sale-a-bration, you can earn a Level 1 Sale-a-bration product for every $50 you spend. If you spend $100, you can select two Level 1 Sale-a-bration products or one Level 2 product. With a $150 order, you can select one Level 2 product and one Level 1 product, or three Level 1 products. Whatever you select, it amounts to a lot of free products!
Although Sale-a-bration just started last Friday, January 3, Stampin’ Up! demonstrators could pre-order and pre-earn products in November (for those who attended OnStage) and in December. So I ended up with a $200 order, which made me eligible for a lot of free products. I selected the Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set, the Lily Pad Dies and the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP). I used all my free products on this card.
First, I stamped one large and two small water lilies on Whisper White Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then I colored the flowers using Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.
Next, I stamped the lily pads on Mint Macaron Cardstock, again using Tuxed0 Black Memento Ink. I blended the colors using Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.
For the card base, I cut a piece of Lovely Lipstick Cardstock at 4-1/4″ x 11″, and scored at 5-1/2″. I added a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of the Lily Impressions DSP to the Lovely Lipstick card base, then adhered the stamped and die-cut Lily Pads and Water Lilies flowers to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The last thing was to add a sentiment. This is for a friend, so I chose the thanks sentiment from the Well Written Dies in the Annual Catalog.
I was really happy with the way this card turned out. We’ll be doing a simpler version at classes in January, but they’ll be just a gorgeous.
If you order all the Annual Catalog Products to create this card (cardstock, Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, Stampin’ Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Stamparatus, and Stampin’ Blends, Well Written Dies) plus a few embellishments (ribbon, sequins, rhinestones) or several packs of envelopes, you can earn the Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set, Lily Pad Dies, and Lily Impressons DSP free!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Thank you, Deborah! I’m a fan of Monet as well. I love this paper (and it was free!) and the Perennial Essence paper in the annual catalog. Two of my absolute favorites!
