A Sneak Peek and a CASE
I feel like I should add, “walked into a bar…” But there’s no joke today. I have a sneak peak from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! January-June Mini Catalog and a CASE (copy and share everything) using current products from the Stampin’ Up! 2019-2020 Annual Catalog that you can purchase now.
First, here’s the sneak peek. It was one of the Make & Takes from OnStage in November.
I loved the layout of this card. We used the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set and stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP), then colored the blossoms with Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. My card is a little different than the Make & Take, because I brought mine home to make. For the actual Make & Take, we used a new punch and a different sentiment.
I stamped a sentiment from the Floral Essence Stamp Set in Basic Gray Ink, then punched with the Everyday Label Punch. After adhering the Vellum Cardstock and stamped DSP to the Pool Party card base, I wrapped the Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon behind the punched sentiment and adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I loved the layout of this card. It’s so elegant, but also very simple. So I created a card using the Sailing Home Stamp Set and Come Sail Away DSP.
I stamped the lighthouse and birds from the Sailing Home Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then added a little color with Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
After I inked the rope image in Sahara Sand Classic Ink, I stamped off one time, then stamped on Whisper White Cardstock. Next I stamped thanks in Night of Navy Classic Ink, and wound the Sahara Sand/Night of Navy Baker’s Twine behind the sentiment layer.
To add a little more depth to the card, I stamped the net from Sea of Textures in Versamark Ink randomly over the Seaside Spray card base before adhering the Vellum Cardstock and DSP/sentiment.
This is such a fun sketch, and I know I’ll be using it a lot!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

I love this layout too, and both of your cards. They are so soft and calming. The random rap of the ribbon just finishes it off

Both cards are wonderful! You’re right – the layout is a great one, and I like the stamping directly onto the paper.
