Dreams Do Come True

Before I share the happy news, take a look at this card I made last week.

I love the Leave a Little Sparkle Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! Five years ago, I may not have given it a second look, but now that I have this little granddaughter who loves unicorns, I had to buy it.

This card was so simple to make. First, I stamped the unicorn on Whisper White Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then I colored it with Stampin’ Blends. I used Dark Roroco Rose, Dark Seaside Spray, Light Peretty Peacock, and Dark Purple Posy for the mane, flowers, and horn. For the body of the unicorn, I used Light Petal Pink and Light Flirty Flamingo Blends.

I used the rectangle Heirloom Frames Dies and 3D Embossing Folder to cut out the unicorn and to cut and emboss the Pretty Peacock frame. I embossed another piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder, then adhered it to a Rococo Rose card base. I added the frame with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then centered the unicorn in the frame. I colored the stamp with Rococo Rose and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Markers, then punched with the Pretty Label Punch. (Hint: If you use the Stamparatus, you can use one color at a time on your stamp – and add more color as needed.) For a little extra magic, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the mane and horn.
