My Meadow

My Meadow

You are going to love the new January – June 2020 Mini Catalog (formerly known as Occasions). It is jam packed with sets in all styles to suit any taste. And once again, Stampin’ Up!® has hit it out of the park with Designer Series Paper (DSP).

I have loved using the Waterfront and Snow Front Stamp Sets. There’s a new set in that same style called My Meadow. We received this stamp set after CentreStage, and I was so happy. I came home and made this card.

My Meadow, Little Ladybug, Stampin' Up!

You will be able to purchase this set beginning January 3, 2020. Since I attended an OnStage Event, I got it early – even earlier than the Demonstrator Preorder! The thank you sentiment is from a Sale-a-bration Hostess Set, Little Ladybug. It’s adorable; I’ll have another card from that set to show you next week.

For those of you who don’t know about Sale-a-bration, it typically happens at the beginning of the calendar year and coincides with the Mini Catalog. When you spend $50 during Sale-a-bration, you can earn a free Level 1 product. With $100, you can earn a Level 2 product, or two Level 1 products. Hostess a workshop, and besides earning the regular Stampin’ Rewards, you’ll get the Little Ladybug Stamp Set free! January, February, and March are some of my favorite months!

To make the My Meadow card, I used the Stamparatus to stamp the gazebo in Gray Granite Classic Ink, the grass in Mossy Meadow Classic Ink, the path in Crumb Cake, the trees in Early Espresso and Old Olive, the birds in Basic Gray, and the clouds in Smoky Slate. I stamped on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper so I could get a good watercolor look.

I stamped most of the images at least two times, spritzing after the second “inking.” I also added some color with my Aqua Painter and more classic ink.

The sentiment is stamped on Whisper White Cardstock using Basic Gray ink. I die-cut the sentiment with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. If you bundle these dies with the Free as a Bird Stamp Set, you’ll save 10%. But wait! If you order before midnight on Friday, November 22, you’ll save an additional 5% on the bundle! Plus, you’ll notice I only used Neutral and Regal Stampin’ Pads. Even the sky is a very watered down Night of Navy. The Neutrals & Regals stamp pads and cardstock colors are also discounted during the Online Extravaganza! See the entire list here.

You will not be able to purchase the My Meadow Stamp Set or earn the Little Ladybug Stamp Set until January 3. The other products are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

I always wanted a yard large enough for a gazebo – with a full time gardener, of course! This is a lovely scene; I can’t wait to see more 🙂

Thank you, Deborah! I’ve always wanted a gazebo as well. We have a lovely place for it, but it’s not quite level enough. sigh It’s also a favorite place for the snakes to hang out on hot days, so maybe it’s not exactly perfect.
