Fall Fun
Happy Wednesday, Stamping Friends! Today is the day you can snap up some of your favorite Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog Stamp Sets at a 15% discount. How cool is that? You can cross a lot of sets off your wish list today.
The 24-hour Flash Sale begins today! You can see the basics in my Monday post, including the list of discounted stamps. Please order early to be sure you get the products you want. And you can, of course, add other products to your order.
Here’s one of the cards we made at our October classes.
This was really fun to do. First, we “dog-eared” a piece of the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) and adhered it to a Crumb Cake card base. Next, we die-cut two small leaves in the Gathered Leaves Dies from the Stampin’ Up!® Holiday Catalog from Gold Foil Sheets. Next, we die-cut the large leaf in the Gathered Leaves Dies from Very Vanilla Cardstock.
To color the leaf, we placed a piece of aluminum foil on the table, then folded a baby wipe and placed it on the foil. We dripped some Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills on the baby wipe, then folded the aluminum foil over the baby wipe and leaf to press the leaf into the inked baby wipe. (This keeps your fingers a little cleaner.) Keep looking at the leaf and moving it around over the inked baby wipe until you’re happy with the image. Let it dry (speed this up with a heat tool), then stamp using the coordinating stamp in the Gather Together Stamp Set with Golden Glitz Delicata Stampin’ Pad. (You can bundle the Gather Together Stamp Set ane Gather Leaves Dies and save 10%.) Adhere the die-cut leaves to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and you’re done!
Hope you have a lovely day! Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!

Thanks, Susan! I LOVE using the baby wipes and refills to color the leaves. So vibrant and “mottled” – like real fallen leaves.
