Stampin’ Blends Challenge
Welcome to a new Friday Stamp Off with Susan, Jackie, and me. This is one of my favorites, because we’re using Stampin’ Blends.
I decided to take a break from holiday cards and use Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog products for my card.
The Beautiful You Stamp Set has long been one of my favorite stamp sets. I won it in a “Prize Patrol” at a Stampin’ Up!® event the year it came out, and I still love it.
I stamped the umbrella lady in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then colored with Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, and Rococo Rose Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends. After die-cutting with the Stitched Shapes Dies, I sponged a little Rococo Rose Classic Ink on the edge of the diecut.
The background layers are two designs of the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper. I layered them to a Crumb Cake card base, then adhered some Rococo Rose 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon over the “seam.” The sentiment from the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set is stamped in Early Espresso Classic Ink.
As much as I love coloring, I realized with this challenge that I’m running low on line-art stamp images. Oh, the horror!! I’m going to need to re-evaluate my future purchases, because I love to watercolor and use my Stampin’ Blends to color images.
Please head over to Jackie’s and Susan’s blogs to see what they’ve created for you. They are both “Blends Masters,” so I know their projects will be amazing!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
