Brightly Gleaming

Here’s the next batch of cards from our Shoebox Swap. Today’s are Chris’s and Judy’s swaps.

Here is Chris’s. I love this card, because it’s full of products I don’t have yet! And Chris is visiting here from Japan, so she doesn’t have most of her products here. This is a perfect example of how you can create something gorgeous without having to have a lot of supplies.

Isn’t that gorgeous? Chris used the So Many Stars Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog (inside sentiment) and the Stitched Stars Dies. (You can bundle these and save 10%.) The Pretty Peacock card base has two pieces of the beautiful Brightrly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Stitched Stars diecut from Copper Foil flanked by two Star Designer Elements. Beautiful!

And here is Judy’s card.

I always love Judy’s cards, because they’re so elegant and beautiful. For this one, we embossed the Mossy Meadow Cardstock layer with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder, then layered it to a Mossy Meadow card base. The Brightly Gleaming DSP is backed by  Night of Navy Cardstock and added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Judy added a Copper Foil frame  to the DSP, then added the stamped/punched ornaments on top. The Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack coordinates with the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set, and you can, again, bundle the products and save 10%. The final touches were a Mossy Meadow Sprig Punched element and the greeting punched with the Classic Label Punch. It’s the little extras that set Judy’s cards apart – like the touch of foil and the punched sprig.
