Feels Like Frost
Welcome back, Stamping Friends! In case you missed it, Stampin’ Up!® is doing something new. You probably know that in each catalog, there are suites of products that all work together – stamps, dies, embossing folders, embellishments, Designer Series Paper, and more. Beginning with the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, Stampin’ Up!® started adding one number for the entire suite. You can, of course, still purchase products separately, but if you’d like to order everything in the suite, you can just enter one simple number.
Isn’t that convenient? I have only used the suite numbers two times, once for the Pressed Petals Suite in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, and once for the Feels Like Frost Suite in the 2019 Holiday Catalog. You don’t get a discounted price (except for the bundled stamps and dies or punch), but it really makes it easy to order when you want everything in the suite anyway.
Here’s a card I made with several products in the Feels Like Frost Suite.
The Designer Series Paper is stunning! One side is a winter scene in gorgeous winter colors, and the other is a silver/white combination. I paired the snow scene with some Night of Navy Foil from the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets (from the Annual Catalog).
I diecut the frame from the foil, and the inside, stitched area from Whisper White Cardstock. I stamped some snowflakes from the Frosted Foilage Stamp Set using the new Delicata Silvery Shimmer Metallic Ink Pad. It’s beautiful, and you do not have to heat set or emboss it. It dries beautifully!
I stamped the sentiment, also from the Frosted Foilage Stamp Set, in the Silvery Shimmer. To highlight it a little, I did emboss the sentiment with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. And finally, I added a couple Sparkle Glimmer Paper snowflakes.
Other products in this beautiful suite are the Seaside Spray 1/4″ Metallic Ribbon, Shimmery Crystal Effects, and Ice Stampin’ Glitter. You can definitely create frosty scenes with this suite.
You’re going to want to add the Feels Like Frost Suite to your wish list. It’s erfect for winter, and you can use it for many occasions.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Thank you! And give in to it, Susan. It’s a lovely suite. I think this is my favorite DSP ever. It just reminds me of winter in a cabin in the woods in Maine. Or Vermont. Or somewhere else cold (Like Upstate NY). Oh – I just realized it’s a throwback to my childhood. Look for a new story soon….
