Favorite New In Color
Welcome to another Friday Stamp Off! This week, Susan, Jackie, and I are showing off our favorite new In Colors for 2019-2021.
Oh, my goodness, this was hard! Here are the five new In Colors for 2019-2021.
I love all of these colors so much! Maybe it was subliminal, but my favorite is the first color – Pretty Peacock. Is it green? Is it blue? It all depends on what you pair it with. It’s a beautiful color, and even prettier in foil.
I wanted to use the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets and Noble Peacock Designer Series Paper (DSP) for my card. Both have foil elements and both are absolutely gorgeous.
First, I die-cut the seaweed in the Smooth Sailing Dies from the Pretty Peacock Noble Peacock Foil Sheets. Then I die-cut the label from the Petal Labels Dies (my second favorite dies in the catalog and maybe my first favorite suite – the Pressed Petals Suite. So gorgeous!), also from the Pretty Peacock Noble Peacock Foil Sheet.
I die-cut the center of the label from Whisper White, then stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays in Night of Navy Classic Ink. Then, since I used my Stamparatus, I stamped over the Night of Navy with Versamark Ink, then heat embossed with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder. It just seemed like the sentiment should have a little glitz so it could hang out with the foil sheets and DSP without feeling like the drab stepsister.
I decided to use the Night of Navy design in the Noble Peacock DSP pack. Because, really, from the first time I saw the Noble Peacock DSP and Foil Sheets, I was totally hooked, and it was because of the Night of Navy sheets. My husband has totally converted me to blues.
I know I’ve said this before, but I love how Stampin’ Up!® products all work together I used three totally different suites in this card – Noble Peacock, Come Sail Away, and Pressed Petals – and they all work together.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
