Good Morning, Magnolia
I’ve seen so many beautiful projects made with the Stampin’ Up!® Good Morning Magnolia Bundle, which includes the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set and Magnolia Memory Dies. In fact, the entire Magnolia Lane Suite is full of gorgeousness – an embossing folder, beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP), Memories & More Cards & Envelopes and Card Pack, So Saffron Stampin’ Blends, Ribbon Combo Pack, Cork Embellishments, and, of course, the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle.
Although I didn’t order the entire suite, I did order the bundle, the DSP, and the Blender Pens. I wanted to show something different at classes this week, so I created this.
It’s very simple. In fact, I got the idea from a project in the Experience Creativity Brochure that Stampin’ Up!® has provided for newer stampers. Let’s face it – seeing that huge catalog for the first time can be quite daunting for beginning stampers. I had no idea what to buy the first time I was introduced to the Stampin’ Up! Catalog®. The Experience Creativity Brochure helps stampers know exactly what to order to create beautiful projects.
For this card, I stamped the small flower in Mossy Meadow Classic Ink on a piece of the Magnolia Lane DSP. Then I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede. Here’s a tip to make sure your sentiments are straight. Line the stamp up on the card stock in your Stamparatus. Then, before stamping, add a clear material over the card stock. Typically I use a Stamp-a-ma-jig imaging sheet (remember that?), but you can use anything thin that you can wipe off and use again – a report folder, our cellophane bags, even window sheets. You can test your stamp and make adjustments as needed before stamping on your card stock or paper.
I added some lovely 3/8″ Scalloped Lace Trim to the DSP, then adhered to a Soft Suede card base. A few Pearl Basic Jewels, and it was finished. For class, since I didn’t have enough lace trim for everyone, they’ll be adding a Decorative Ribbon Border Punched piece of Petal Pink. It’s very pretty, and I think it works even better than the ribbon.
Don’t forget – the Clearance Rack will be updated with retired holiday stamps today, and Stampin’ Trimmer Blades will be available tomorrow, June 27, beginning at noon Eastern. You’ll be able to order a maximum of three packs of the blades, but don’t wait. We expect this shipment to sell out fast.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
